Botulinum Toxin Injection

Botulinum toxin injections block the transmission of nerve impulses in specific muscles, promoting muscle relaxation, and also block nerve impulses to sweat glands, eliminating excessive sweating.

Indications:

  • Prevention, reduction, or elimination of dynamic expression wrinkles (forehead, eyebrows, and eye contour)

  • Correction of gummy smile and facial asymmetries

  • Elimination of axillary hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating)

Results are visible after 2-5 days and persist for about 6 months, after which the procedure can be repeated.

Local massage, physical exercise, sun exposure, or other sources of heat should be avoided in the first 24 hours.

Contraindicated in pregnant or breastfeeding women and individuals with neuromuscular diseases.
