Fractional Radiofrequency with Microneedling (Potenza)

Fractional radiofrequency with microneedling is an innovative procedure that combines two widely used techniques in cosmetic dermatology. Potenza® offers two modes of micro-needling radiofrequency that allow for both superficial and deep treatments. Its main strength is in skin laxity, acting on the stimulation of collagen production. The monopolar mode is used to tighten the skin by deep tissue heating, while the bipolar mode with more concentrated energy is used for skin revitalization and surface treatments (fine wrinkles, acne scars, pigmentation). This equipment also allows for topical administration of drugs with specialized needles, enhancing the benefits of the treatment.

Since part of the results are due to endogenous collagen stimulation, the maximum effect is observed after 3 months of treatment. 1-3 sessions may be necessary depending on the particular case. Unlike other procedures, skin color does not influence the effectiveness of the treatment.

The procedure is performed under topical anesthesia applied 1 hour before the session for the patient's greater comfort. After the treatment, the skin becomes pink and rougher, returning to normal in less than a week. Adequate sun protection is recommended during this period.
